We operate an Indian restaurant at Green Point serving authentic Indian dishes which is prepared using the finest quality ingredients and utmost care. Customer satisfaction and retention are of the utmost importance to us.

Position Background:

Qualified Cook needed on a full time basis for long term

Duties include:
Supporting the Restaurant Manager and Kitchen Head with the preparation of food according to restaurant recipes
Ensuring all food handling practices are carried out accordingly
Ensuring all food prepared meets the quality and quantity set
Responsible to assist with the restocking of supplies and materials used
Clean food preparation areas before and after daily operations
Working closely with all kitchen staff

Qualifications and Work Experience:
Australian Certificate 4 in Cookery or higher
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills;
Fast learner to understand and apply new knowledge and techniques;
Great customer services skills;
High organization and management skills

Salary Package

Depending on experience and qualifications held
$50,000 – $60,000 + Superannuation
