Technology Lead - Actimize

Drive the development of Macquarie’s strategic financial crime prevention and compliance platform.

As Technology Lead, you will be provide technical leadership on the FCC platforms principally the Actimize suite of financial crime prevention and compliance applications and will be accountable for the solution architecture of your aligned platform/s. You will work within a DevOps delivery team on development, configuration, implementation of enhancements, request fulfilment, project delivery, resolution of defects and production incidents.

You will be working with external offshore service providers and other Macquarie resources both offshore and onshore to deliver change and to support the platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • implementing application changes in line with customer requirements
  • optimizing and tuning rules configured in the application to ensure completeness and effectiveness of monitoring
  • coordinating customer and technical requirements and their implementation with the relevant stakeholders and develop technical application designs
  • working with all application stakeholders to coordinate the implementation of changes into the production environment
  • Level 2 support such as responding to queries from business users, investigate production issues and escalating to the vendor for further support
  • Level 3 support such as developing customizations and enhancements, patching, performance tuning and bug fixes as recommended by Actimize
  • testing support for changes to the application, interfaces or environment
  • perform data analysis and investigation in response to customer queries
  • identify and implement continuous improvements and efficiencies such as automation and process simplification

About you

  • experience with Actimize Financial Crime Prevention, Compliance and Anti Money Laundering applications (AIS, SAM, eRCM)
  • experience in leading and managing, internal/external development and operations (DevOps) teams who are geographically separate.
  • experience with MSSql, standard database query tools, Java, script management/development
  • experience with MS Windows / NT and Linux / UNIX operating systems
  • understanding of database modelling and data warehouse principles
  • understanding of ETL tools
  • strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including the ability to document and analyze complex information and data

Additional experience in the following will be highly desirable:

  • experience in Risk Management for Financial Services
  • experience in Agile Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • experience with ITIL-based service management processes
