Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR) is a leading Defence and Government integrated support provider. KBR Australia has been involved in working with Defence for the last 20 years, and has developed a core competency in systems engineering, systems and enterprise architecture, project management, and integrated logistics support, to support a wide range of defence projects. Our Defence and Government Services division is currently seeking a person with strong Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) experience, with particular expertise in Technical Spares Assessment including the use of the Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS). These is a Melbourne based position and is located at a customer site.
Responsibilities Review and Prepare o Level of Repair Analysis Reporting o Manufacturers Recommended Spares Lists o Training Equipment and Materials Lists o Support and Test Equipment Provisioning Lists o Codification Data o Technical Data List o Complete Equipment Schedule Lists o Repair Parts Identification Lists Apply detailed technical knowledge and experience in the review and preparation of technical publications and illustrations in accordance with DEF (AUST) 5629B. Apply knowledge of desktop publishing packages to ensure publications are in accordance with approved standards and processes, including the uploading of approved documentation on to the Configuration Management Tool-Land. Provision of advice and reports on and development of technical data processes.
Requirements Experience in Capability Acquisition and Support Group, Land environment as a Technical Spares Assessor (Essential) Experience in the development of Defence technical manuals (Essential) Experience in MILIS with a current Defence MILIS logon (Essential) Experience with desktop publishing (Important) An existing Australian Government Security Clearance (Essential)
