Aurecon’s Energy and Resources group provides expertise across many key markets, including Renewables, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Mining, and Food and Beverage. The Group continues to be an important part of Aurecon’s global growth strategy, and we are committed to investing in people to drive this growth at a global, regional, and local level. We are currently inviting applications from ce. Reporting to the Unit Leader, the Technical Director, Renewables will undertake leadership of this key part of our business with supervisory responsibility for business growth, client management, people development and project delivery.

The responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Leading and growing a team renowned for excellence in renewable projects
  • Executing and contributing to the refinement of our renewable energy strategy
  • Leading engagement with clients to deliver market leading solutions
  • Assuming responsibility for management of medium and large scale renewable projects
  • Lead in the execution of technical advisory, owner’s engineer and asset management related services
  • Integrate Aurecon’s technical expertise in solar and wind technologies to deliver solutions to clients
  • Work with other engineering disciplines, designers and supervisors as required to support engineering project delivery
