Site Logistics Coordinator
HireForce are currently looking to engage a suitably qualified site logistics coordinator to work with an international logistics company.
The key tasks of the role are as follows
Key interface between client and Panalpina project team
Assist client in logistics planning and reporting
Coordinate all transport deliveries to site.
Coordinate site activities directing trucks and managing transport management plan
Perfrom genreal material control function for inbound material
Ensure transport driver adhere to site rules / regulations
Provide daily reporting for deliveries to site.
Provide forecasting reports to the RCR site team
Build and maintain client relationships
Increase client satisfaction level for project
Create improvements in the Service Delivery execution for the project
Pro-actively provide notification to clients as, and when, there is an update and / or change to the status
Liaise with origin / destination offices and local colleagues to ensure client shipments progress as required throughout the international supply chain and in accordance with the SOP
Provide client logistics and expediting support on a daily basis by using Panalpina’s experience network.
Monitor and ensure all required system updates are executed by the relevant department within the stipulated KPIs
Create and analyse client KPI reports on monthly basis
Weekly review of client rate folder to ensure all rates are valid and filed in client tariff folder
Manage client folder on network drive and archive as appropriate
Receive and manage client feedback / complaints as appropriate
Provide feedback or intelligence regarding the accounts handled
Attend client meetings / reviews as required
