An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join this large organisation based in Perth.
Reporting to the Strategic Procurement Manager, the Procurement Specialist will assist in the execution of the group’s procurement strategy by conducting tenders for the supply of goods and services across the group. This includes the review of spend levels, negotiation of supplier pricing, monitoring of service and performance levels, reducing the level of commercial risk for the business and delivering sustainable procurement outcomes.


Key responsibilities include the development of tender strategies that align with the group’s procurement requirements, development of scope of works, preparation and letting of tenders, negotiation of contract terms, preparation and execution of contracts.


You will lead contract performance review meetings to ensure contractual obligations are delivered and that the company leverages off the experience and expertise of their suppliers.
To be considered for this role you must have minimum of five years experience in procurement, sourcing or contract management roles and a detailed understanding of the broader procurement discipline. You must have strong negotiation skills, excellent analytical skills, strong time management and a high level of computer literacy.


This is a key role initially offered on a contract basis and candidates who are immediately available to commence employment are preferred. This role will become permanent for the right candidate.
