Senior Policy Officer required to coordinate the response to the Royal Commission into Family Violence


Your new company
You will be working for a major State Government department, on an extremely high profile cross government initiative


Your new role
You will be responsible for effective coordination, information-sharing, cross-group engagement and collaboration both internally and with other government Departments. You will be responsible for:



  • secretariat support for internal governance processes

  • briefing processes

  • project management functions such as generating reports and managing website content

  • coordination of input into WoVG work




What you'll need to succeed
You will be able to:



  • Provide specialist advice on policy issues to a range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Prepare and, as appropriate, present discussion papers, submissions, reports and briefings for committees, expert bodies, ministers or key decision makers

  • Use appropriate project management planning and monitoring tools to track project progress

  • Engage in stakeholder negotiations to reach accepted, implementable policy outcomes
