Based across 3 interstate and overseas studios, they employ over 110 staff yet retain the outlook & feel of smaller, design-focused design practices. The teams are about 50% Architects/50% Interior Designers, plus Support staff. Sydney is the Head Office of the practice.

Architects and Interior Designers both work across each discipline; there is a lot of cross-over from the Interior Design team in team member’s responsibilities, and a blurring of the two disciplines’ contributions.

They require a Senior Interior Designer, Senior Interior Architect or Senior Architect with substantial Interior Design experience for their Sydney CBD office.

What design services do they provide?

This design practice provides integrated design solutions to their clients, including:

  • Architecture

  • Interior Design

  • Strategic Design

Your work day may include:

  • Liaising with Clients

  • Close collaboration with their Workplace and Education Strategy Leader

  • Concept Design, Master Planning and Strategic Design

  • Researching new trends in the Workplace and Education sectors in: Environmental Psychology, Operational Efficiency, Branding Integration, Staff Productivity, Company Culture, etc

Skills & Experience you will need:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Interior Architecture

  • An eye for good design, the ability to generate edgy, innovative concept designs

  • Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp preferable

  • A minimum of 7 years post-grad experience on Workplace and/or Education (Tertiary) projects assisting a Design Director or managing your own projects in a leading major design practice

  • Excellent written & spoken English

  • Leadership of client briefing and liaison, with excellent presentation experience of concepts, ideas and solutions to major client organisations
