Job Description:

We currently have a leadership opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to play an integral part in managing the day to day operations of a Department of Defence site.

Reporting to the Regional Security Manager Defence NSW/ACT, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations and performance of the site and will provide visible leadership, direction and issue resolution at the front line of service, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness are maintained at a consistent level.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver operations excellence with an emphasis on rostering skills to ensure the operations needs are met
  • Direct liaison with client representatives and its customers
  • Staff supervision and  performance management
  • Front line response to operational issues
  • Investigation and outcome reporting into security incidents.
  • Communication & implementation of processes and procedures to enhance client service delivery.
  • Promote security awareness, interacting with staff and key stake holders
  • Creating, managing and evaluating the effectiveness of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide 24/7 emergency response for all security, operations and facility related areas

Our successful applicant will be able to demonstrate and give working examples of:

  • Effective and influential communicator who has the confidence and ability to communicate to all levels, in both verbal and written forums
  • Manage the day-to-day running of a security team
  • A team player who will ensure the security team operates cohesively
  • High degree of customer service experience, that will ensure an impeccable customer service experience for all
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain professional at times even under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High level Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook skills
  • Experience in rostering for a team of up 20 security and administrational personnel
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV1 Clearance

It is mandatory that you hold a Current NSW Security Licence and have availability to work Monday to Friday 0900 to 1730 with occasional after hours assistance, and coverage after hours, as per operational and client requirements.
