Calvary Ryde Retirement Community (CRC) currently has an opportunity for a Quality & Risk Coordinator to join our team in anewly established role.

Calvary Ryde is a friendly, close-knit neighbourhood with 115 residential aged care beds and 122 independent living units. Calvary Ryde forms part of Calvary Retirement Communities (CRC) which provides residential accommodation for older Australians across NSW and the ACT.

What does the role look like?

The Quality and Risk Coordinator plays an integral role in our organisation by ensuring compliance to the Quality and the National Work Health and Safety program.

The primary purpose is to facilitate continuous improvement activities by identifying, implementing and reviewing both quality and work health and safety functions; embedding safety KPIs, risk management, investigations and training/coaching staff across the business.

This position is based at Ryde with infrequent travel to our sites.

What are we looking for?
-Registered Nurse with AHPRA Registration
-Experience in undertaking audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS legislation
-Demonstrated skills in Quality Improvement
-A commitment to work within Calvarys Mission, Vision and Values
-Demonstrated working knowledge of WHS legislation and related Codes of Practice
-Knowledge of accreditation standards
-Proven ability to build and maintain effective key stakeholder relationships
-Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
-Proactive and positive approach
-Possess a current drivers licence
-Cert IV TAE ( Desirable)
-Qualifications in WHS ( Highly Desirable)
