 We’re looking for a Banker to join our successful Commercial Business Banking team as a Relationship Manager, with a focus on acquiring new to Bank clients. This Relationship Manager will have full portfolio management responsibilities including:
  • Outstanding interactions with existing and prospective customers;
  • Maintaining existing exposures and ongoing lending and credit requirements (periodic risk reviews);
  • Focus on winning new to bank customers
  • Maximising opportunities to earn all of our customers’ business, including lending, deposits, transactional banking solutions, investments and protection; and
  • Developing and growing deep industry expertise and referral networks.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Proven Relationship Management experience
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service;
  • Strong credit skills, including cashflow lending;
  • Proven track record in Business Development and acquiring new to bank business;
  • Well established network of referral sources;
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
You act as a trusted advisor to drive sustainable business growth over time and source new clients through your own and Westpac-developed marketing initiatives by establishing and maintaining a quality referral network.
You will actively refer customers to appropriate segments, ensuring the needs of the customer and Westpac are consistently met.
