The Opportunity As part of the HCA-Defence contract, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced operations professional to join our team. HCA-Defence provides high calibre medical personnel to the Australian Defence Force in Queensland, Norther Territory, South Australia and Western Australia.
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the Regional Manager - Operations is responsible for ensuring that efficiency targets for the utilisation of resource are achieved for both our internal financial requirements and our client, the Australian Defence Force.
Key Responsibilities include:
Ensure employee resources are fully utilised to meet workloads and KPI targets.
Maximise labour efficiencies and minimise labour costs including overtime payments and the use of causals and contractors.
Assist the National Operations Manager to ensure work practices achieve highest safety and appropriate quality and productivity levels and targets.
Assist the National Operations Manager to ensure all client KPIs are achieved and improvement plans are developed and implemented.
About you: To be successful in this role you will require the following attributes:
Experience in managing, leading, coaching and motivating a team in a field setting.
Strong problem solving skills, analytical skills and innovative thinking.
Experience in building and developing a multi-faceted team with a strong focus on safety culture.
Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Strong requirement for customer focus and stakeholder engagement.
Strong computer skills in outlook, excel and word.
