Quarry Manager

Our Team at Orange helped their last Quarry Manager get promoted and now they are looking for a new leader. Based in beautiful Orange, we look to appoint an agile courageous leader with the perseverance to continue to develop our teams and businesses at our Shadforth and Beryl (Mudgee) quarries.

With our operations strategically located to service the needs of our customers across metropolitan and country locations throughout Australia, we supply a range of quality products as aggregates and base materials which build from hospitals to schools, from roads to bridges, from driveways to subdivisions. We currently supply the Guanna Hill highway upgrade and many many more!

Are you a Manager passionate to inspire safe, efficient operations?

You will have a genuine interest in the day to day management and challenges of running a hard rock mining operation, including the ultimate responsibility for safety performance, production targets, quality control, customer liaison and LEAN implementation. You will also be responsible for the profitability of the site, managing financial outcomes and achieving set budgets and targets.

Key to the success in this role will be your demonstrated experience managing an operation along with well-developed knowledge of LEAN principals. You will have a strong ability to manage all HR, training and staff development needs, along with having an invested interest in Boral's health, safety and environmental standards and improving the safety culture of the site.
