Help us grow our game! We are currently looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Program Pathway Leader to join the Team at Tennis West!
Reporting to the Participation Manager you will be responsible for engaging, influencing, supporting and developing relationships between deliverers, coaches, schools and clubs with the ultimate goal of driving participation growth. The role will be responsible for improving the transition of learning the game to playing the game, through ANZ Tennis Hot Shots School, Coaching and Community Play Program’s, into Match Play, Junior Club Competition and long term engagement in local clubs.
This will see you playing a proactive and critical role in creating relationships of influence that are able to assist in growing the number of registered tennis participants, positively enhancing coach business behaviour, and driving links to integrate a holistic player pathway at local venues.
As the Participation Pathway Leader, your duties will include:
Establish strong relationships, influencing and supporting deliverers to maintain healthy and positive relationships with key stakeholder.
Developing strong relationships with various deliverers to drive participation growth through embracing programs, services and professional development available through Tennis Australia
Influence and support coaches through their relationship with clubs and schools, to increase the number of junior tennis player transitions to Red Ball Competition, ANZ Hot Shots Match Play and Junior Club Competition
Build engagement with local coaches, provide support, and share innovation and success in programming, player development and business growth.
Promote and support the delivery of ongoing professional development opportunities in areas of tennis coaching delivery across various platforms

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to evoke the cooperation of stakeholders across a wide range of organisations including volunteers, coaches, LGA’s and schools.
Demonstrated experience in sports administration, particularly dealing with Coaches, Clubs, and volunteer bodies.
Understanding of the tennis coaching industry and external influences affecting the delivery of sport and participation.
A passion for working as part of a hands-on team and growing the game of Tennis
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint
A tertiary degree in a relevant field (favourable)
