Reporting to the Country Operations Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for the management of the concrete plant.
The primary purpose of this position is to develop, implement and monitor strategies for the safe production and delivery of concrete, ensuring a Zero Harm Environment for all employees and contractors. Working with Boral's operating procedures, you will have a strong focus on embedding lean principles (Boral Production System), whilst achieving and sustaining cost effectiveness. You will be customer focused ensuring the quality of the products and service provided to the project adhere to the customer’s strict quality specifications while also meeting the desired production program.
Key to the success in this role will be your demonstrated experience managing concrete production plants along with well-developed knowledge of LEAN principals would be advantageous. You will have an enthusiastic desire to maintain a productive team environment where high morale contributes to customer satisfaction. Ideally you will have relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive industry experience, along with the ability to keep up to date with relevant industry developments.
