Procurement Analyst

  • 8 month full time contract role


Procurement Analyst required for immediate start in Melbourne CBD for an 8 month period!


As the Procurement Analyst you will provide insights to the procurement team to allow them to make good commercial decisions by:



  • Identifying commercial and/or efficiency opportunities to improve the business

  • Monitor and track team performance and ensure that key achievements, risks and work activities are effectively communicated to senior management


To be considered for this position you must have:



  • Be proficient in the use of Tableau and Alteryx or other data blending and visualisation tools

  • Advanced excel skills

  • Demonstrated experience in providing a holistic insight to the business, drawing conclusions from the data

  • First class time management and organisational skills

  • Proven key stakeholder engagement capabilities

  • 2+ years in an analytical role, either in a procurement or sales function


It would be desirable if you have:



  • An understanding of procurement practices and procedures

  • A financial qualification (or are working towards this)

  • Project management experience and understanding

  • Exposure to SAP and SharePoint
