Primary School Teacher
Nyangatjatjara Aboriginal Corporation (NAC) currently has a rewarding opportunity for a Primary School Teacher to teach classes of students who are acutely socio-economically disadvantaged.
You will be responsible for teaching a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for Year 3-6 students. You will also be responsible for facilitating and encouraging a learning experience for students whilst taking part in the review, development and management of activities relating to curriculum, policies, and organisation of the school.

For your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractive salary circa $70,000 - $100,000 (based on your skills and experience)! Additionally, you'll be able to greatly increase your take-home salary with access to up to $15,900 in salary sacrificing options! There is also a remote area allowance and retention bonus available to further increase your earning potential.
Relocation assistance is available, and you'll be provided with your own private accommodation with all utilities, including internet, paid for by the organisation. Annual flights home to your city of repatriation will also be provided to allow you to stay in contact with family and friends.

Nyangatjatjara College (NC) opened its doors for the first time on July 21st 1997. In the first five years of its life, the college grew from one building to multiple temporary buildings at four campuses based in the communities it serves.
NC provides secondary education across three remote communities, and primary education in one (Docker River). All of their students are Anangu and almost all speak Pitjantjatjara as their first language. They are the only secondary education provider in the Northern Territory south of Alice Springs.
