The Role



 



Broadspectrum is recruiting a Planner who will be responsible for the scheduling of work in accordance with contract deliverables. This is a permanent, full time position located in Mornington Peninsula. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:



  • Develop task lists for the planning and scheduling of all repetitive maintenance activities through the Work Management function for delivery of the MPS Works Management System

  • Develop, regularly review and monitor plans for assets and compliance to Customer’s service delivery standards

  • Oversee access to sites

  • Review, plan and schedule all works identified

  • Assist with the scheduling and management of reactive works

  • Regular update of all registers and schedules associated with MPS Works Management System

  • Provision of detailed reporting including monthly reports.

  • Monitor planned and reactive activities versus estimated activities and maintenance budgets

  • Facilitate contact with, and or attend meetings as required, with Maintenance Managers (or their delegates) to review, discuss and resolve issues involving or affecting the MPS Works Management. Initiate corrective actions with timelines and provide feedback updates to Stakeholders

  • Monitor customer Key Performance Indicators, as relevant to or as may be influenced by planning activities

  • Provide concise and accurate reports that apply to the MPS Works Management within the timelines as requested by the Customer Relationship Manager.

  • Assist with the ongoing improvement of the Works Management function.

  • Provide support for the data capturing and reporting tools and systems

 



 



Requirements



 



  • Sound working knowledge of Works Management Systems and software applications primarily SAP Work Manager (SWM 6.3) Primavera, GeoMedia Smart Client (GSMC).

  • Excellent general computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel etc)

  • Strong technical knowledge and background in various buildings and facilities operations.

  • Excellent understanding in the application of resource, capacity planning and scheduling

  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
