This locally-owned, growing engineering business located on the city fringe is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on finance / accounts officer. This exciting opportunity is available immediately on permanent (3 days a week) part-time basis.
Your new role
The responsibilities of this newly created position will include BAS preparation, managing super funds and property trust, end to end payroll, balance sheet and profit and loss reporting, and servicing clients with multiple entities. You will also be able to perform functions of accounts payable and accounts receivable, in addition to completing credit card and bank reconciliations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will possess end to end bookkeeping experience in professional practice, along with exposure to MYOB or Xero. Corporate presentation is essential and a consultative approach may need to be taken. You will have a high attention to detail, outstanding business acumen and a superior sense of ownership to be successful within this position.
