The Opportunity

As part of our Retention team your role will be to engage customers, build rapport and ensure all customers are getting the best value from their current products as well as present personalised solutions based on the customer's current and future needs. You will be doing this via a variety of outbound call campaigns such as cover review and payment campaigns. In return you will be rewarded through a generous and uncapped commission structure.

Located in the centre of Wollongong, you will work Monday to Friday, with your shifts falling between the hours of 8am and 7pm.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Retention of existing members through open questioning and assessing reasons for termination and providing advice as to the benefits of private health insurance
  • Completing fund comparisons
  • Performing cover evaluations for customers who are wishing to change their level of cover
  • Working from an auto-dialler on various outbound campaigns

About you

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a sales and/or retention role with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

  • You will have a professional and friendly phone manner and champion positive behaviours.
  • You must have a genuine passion for working in a sales/retention environment
  • You will have excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills and be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone.
  • Be self-motivated to maintain high productivity to reach desired outcomes
  • Ability to adapt to and work within a highly structured and measured work environment
