National Sales Manager


Our client is an international leader in premium valve manufacturer and today is probably one of the last companies still designing, engineering, developing, testing and manufacturing a full range of valves for the mine, water, agricultural and power industries. A fantastic opportunity exists for a national sales mnager to help lead an grow the business in the Australian market.


In this highly desirable role, you will provide coverage across Australia leading a skilled team and pitching for new business and presenting to key stakeholders. This technical salesmanagment role will have a key focus on overseeing all marketing and sales funtions.

Duties include:

  • Grow, lead and develop a team of highly skilled sales and support staff

  • Ensure that the companies brand and presence is grown through marketing and sales

  • Ensure that key KPI's and Financial budgets and targets are met by the team

  • Identify new opportunities across all imdsutry verticles

  • Full understanding of the channel and primary demand network and the ability to use product value proposition to leverage and influence both.

  • Drive all product categories to achieve increased category share

  • Quoting clients with a range of products and other requirements

  • Achieve personal sales targets to contribute to the company business objectives being

  • Building customer relationships through strong customer service and a can do attitude with a willingness to always exceed expectations


  • Expereinced in sales managment ideally from the engineering space

  • A B2B focus - Knowledge of the mining, agriculutral and industrial engineering market

  • Strong organisational, planning and negotiating skills

  • A polished presenter - articulate and well presented

  • Willingness to travel nationally
