Your new role
Playing a pivotal role across management accounting and reporting, systems development and analysis, this role will sit in the management team and take ownership of the maintenance of existing systems and the development and implementation of improved management information and reporting systems. Working in partnership with the CFO, Financial Accountant and the Directors, you will oversee the timely and accurate production of management reports including commentary for the various business units, analysis on sales, inventory, WIP, pricing and costing variations, material usage, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual budgets, budgeting and forecasting for multiple entities, reporting on performance trends and highlight systems and technology deficiencies in the processes. Working with existing systems, you will have the opportunity to develop and improve the current reporting and analysis that is being produced and you will also play a key role in the upgrade and implementation of new systems.


What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will hold a degree qualification and by CPA or CA qualified (essential). In addition, you will need demonstrated experience in a complex construction or manufacturing environment where you have been required to work closely with the business across both finance and operations. Significant exposure to accounting systems and the ability to make improvements to reporting and analysis so that more informed decision making, pricing decisions and trend identification is possible for the management team. A highly analytical approach is essential as is the ability to problem solve and interpret information whilst putting a business and/or operational context around the data produced.
