Lead Estimator Job

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the Estimating Function through the end to end process in Tender proposal and submission. You will manage a skilled team of subject matter experts, hold a strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop strategic commercial solutions. A background in Facilities Maintenance is essential for this role.

Further, you will:

  • Manage estimating component of all EOI and tender submission related activities.

  • Provide leadership to the estimating team ensuring an understanding of bid scope, implementing bid strategies for projects, monitoring and meeting proposal preparation timelines.

  • Provide commercial and strategic solutions and advice

  • Ensure a thorough understanding of commercial estimating models and legal compliance as it relates to proposals and tenders

  • Manage estimating function through the gate process to ensure on time delivery of estimating data and solutions.


The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and have demonstrated experience in an estimating or commercial role. Only candidates with Facilities Maintenance experience will be considered for this vacancy. You will be hands on, able to build influential relationships and manage a team in line with Broadspectrum Diversity and Inclusion Philosophy.
