An enthusiastic, and driven HR Officer is required to provide support to the HR arm of the company.

Our client is a privately owned FMCG business that has built up a reputation over more than 50 years to be one of Australia's largest in this sector. the operate buy selling their products both nationally and internationally into a significant and well established customer base.

Your new role
The Human Resource Officer will work across all areas of the Human Resources function but will required to have an emphasis on owning the end-to-end recruitment within the organisation. Underlying this will to also provide daily support to employees and managers.
Key responsibilities within the role:

  • Write HR policies and procedures

  • Maintain employee files

  • Assist with the interpretation of awards, remuneration and benefits

  • Provide an end-to-end recruitment function for the business

  • Support the management team in performance management

  • Coordinate new and existing employee contracts and details

  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes

  • Assist with termination processes

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources

  • Strong administration skills

  • A high level of confidentiality

  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment (minimum 3 years)

  • Developed understanding of HR principles

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
