This is a fantastic opportunity to further yourself in the HR industry. In this generalist role, you will be responsible for providing HR advice to the line managers, award interpretation, recruitment and selection, workforce planning, counselling and discipline, performance management, industrial relations and assisting the team with challenging projects.

In order to be successful in this role you will be exceptionally organised with a high level of attention to detail and have an ability to multi task and prioritise. As you will be dealing with a large volume of sensitive information you will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the importance of confidentiality.

This role would suit you if you have solid experience in a similar role and can demonstrate achievements in making a difference and providing solutions in a HR setting. Energy, enthusiasm, discretion and proficiency are the standards that will be applied but there is also room for fun and celebration of success.

This is a temporary full-time maternity leave replacement position up to 12 months commencing in mid-November. The salary range is between $75,391 to $81,441 per annum, plus 9. 5% superannuation.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level Human Resource advice across all levels within an organisation

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and business associates.

  • Well-developed written communications skills with the ability to produce reports, policy development and associated documentation.

  • Strong customer service focus and commitment to quality customer service outcomes.

  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret relevant Human Resources Legislation, Awards, Policies and Procedures.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
