Job Description

As an Executive, you perform a key supervisory leadership role within the Guest Relations Reception team and report to the Guest Relations Manager. You will be responsible for the client service delivery to internal and external clients and visitors, ensuring that at all times the client experience is thoughtful, seamless, welcoming and professional.  Aligning to the highest standards required by both CBRE and Macquarie, you will lead by example and provide support and guidance to the Reception team. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Take the lead responsibility for the Reception experiences at assigned location
  • Work across three premium Sydney CBD buildings, and 7 Reception locations, as well as Central Reservations and Switchboard - providing plenty of opportunity for rotation, cross exposure and personal development
  • Oversight of roster and coverage coordination when required
  • Management of client requests, including the booking of meeting and event rooms, catering and audio visual requirements 
  • Responsible for ensuring the service delivery within assigned location is to the highest standard
  • A proactive mindset, ensuring the presentation of assigned space, desks and client spaces are all presented to the highest standards – taking appropriate steps to remediate when required
  • Provide training and development to Reception team and ensure accountability for assigned tasks and role requirements
  • Provide hosting services to key reception locations via mobile technology, ensuring that arrival/departure experiences are seamless 
  • Participate in interviewing junior positions, and temporary staff, with the Reception Manager
  • Provide performance feedback for the team, including via formal appraisal process
  • Assist the Guest Relations Manager with administrative duties or project work as required
Requirements
  • High energy, motivation and passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role in a High End Corporate or Five Star Hospitality environment
  • Leadership skills experience and demonstrated success with managing a team
  • Polished, pride in your presentation and a strong team player
  • Superior attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Professional, with a flexible approach to adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • A genuine commitment to a high standard of customer service excellence
