This government organisation is looking for a number of business analysts to join them to support their procurement process improvement project.
Your new role
This role will be heavily involved in process mapping and analysing business requirements related to procurement processes, systems and standards. The organisation’s current systems are no longer considered to be fully fit for purpose, and need to be optimised to ensure innovation and efficiency. This is a project that will be heavily focussed on assessing COTS and SaaS solutions, including confirming scope, documenting functional and business requirements, and facilitating the assessment of requirements against products.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful incumbent of this role you will have a solid understanding of COTS and SaaS solutions, including having been involved in assessing solutions to determine whether they are fit for purpose based on business requirements. You will have significant experience with process mapping, as well as application design. Facilitating workshops and working closely with stakeholders/vendors is one of your key skills, and is supported by exceptional communication skills. Knowledge of, or experience working in, local or state government environments is highly regarded.
What you'll get in return
You will earn a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, and a competitive hourly rate based upon experience.
