Your new company
This Department is responsible for the design and implementation of some of the Australian Government’s variety of development programs and policies. This particular division to responsible for providing support and oversight of the delivery on a particular project as well as boarder opportunities. This Department supports workplace diversity and values the contribution of people from diverse backgrounds.


Your new role
As an APS5/6 team member you will be an enthusiastic self-starter able to assist with the current project. The work will likely include:



  • Analysis and advice on the Government’s commercial and policy interests (including risk management, private financing arrangements, and the development of complementary infrastructure)

  • Project management activities, including participation in meetings involving the planning of the project, providing input into planning documentation, and assisting with the analysis, implementation and establishment aspects of the project;

  • Preparation of correspondence, communication and administration material, including ministerial, briefings, reports, agendas and file notes

  • Procurement and contract management activities




What you'll need to succeed
As the successful applicant, you will be willing and able to commit to working full-time hours. You will ideally have proven experience in the following:



  • Possess effective writing skills

  • Aptitude for collaboration

  • Ability to deliver high quality outcomes within tight time frames

  • Hold a current baseline clearance as a minimum


Previous experience in a similar role within the Federal Government is highly desirable. You must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a Baseline personnel security clearance. What you'll get in return
Centrally located, you’ll be offered an above award hourly rate with full-time hours and exposure to a Government department. There is potential for this role to have extension option for the right candidate.
