Area Sales Manager - FMCG

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the management of their territory within the NSW Foodservice business and managing a small team. The aim of the person in the role will be to manage the successful accounts already developed however there will also be a major focus on Business Development bringing on and widening the reach into the Foodservice and End User channels as well as working with key distributors

Client Details

My client is a leading Fresh Food Company with a excellent product portfolio where they provide their products to the Australian Foodservice/Hospitality & Corporate channels. Their people have a genuine passion about the brands they represent and a commitment to providing first class customer service. Having a interest in the foodservice/meat industry will be beneficial.


As a Area Sales Manager you will also be acting as a Account Manager to your Key Accounts on your territory and also a team leader. This will include regular visits selling in the range of products on the books as well as recommending and helping customers with key pricing strategies. The clients you will be dealing with are end users and key distributors. Your main focus will be on developing your team and hunting new business

Experience with accounts such as PFD, NAFDA & Countrywide would be beneficial.


If you pro active, hungry, driven and flexible then it is the right position for you. Someone who knows and understands how the foodservice channel functions is a must with a background working for FMCG companies.
