About the role

Reporting to the North NSW Cell Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 6 Account Managers who are responsible for concrete sales across the Newcastle and Northern NSW region.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop sales plans that are in line with the strategic objectives for the business
  • Set sales volumes, revenues and margins targets for account managers
  • Achieve ongoing pricing targets and comply with all pricing policies
  • Ensure all customers are trading within their allocated credit limits
  • Assist to resolve customer issues, disputes and/or complaints
  • An accurate and up to date customer database is maintained
  • Develop relevant training and development plans for all sales staff

About you

Having experience in a similar sales management role you will have a highly developed understanding of the sales process.

With a strong leadership background, you will have demonstrated success in driving teams to achieve targets.

You will need strong interpersonal skills while exposure to salesforce and/or SAP would be beneficial.

Exposure to the concrete or building materials sector would be an advantage.
