Permanent Senior Credit Officer/Accounts Receivable Officer job for a construction company in Sydney

Having been around for nearly 30 years this well established, Australian owned, Construction company has built up a fantastic reputation to be one of the leaders in their industry. Offering a niche services within both the residential and commercial space, they have secured a range of individual, medium and large loyal customers.


Your new role
Sitting within a small team of 3 in accounts, you will take on the full responsibility of Accounts Receivable/Credit control offering a personalised service to each customer whilst maintaining adequate cash flow for the business. Your duties will include;



  • Creating and sending invoices to customers

  • Working closely with Project Managers

  • Chasing debtors for overdue payments

  • Allocating payments and sending out statements

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Raising credit notes

  • Producing aged debtor reports




What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. You will also



  • Have experience within a similar type of industry (construction, engineering etc)

  • Hold 4+ years experience in Credit Control role - ideally stand alone

  • Be used to dealing with large complex accounts and reconciliations

  • Ideally you will have exposure to MYOB
