About the role
Our Governance, Regulation and Conduct (GRC) Advisory team forms part of our Assurance & Advisory Group. GRC focus is consulting on governance, regulatory compliance, and retail conduct risk matters predominately within Wealth Management, Banking, Credit, Superannuation and Insurance industries.

As the GRC Advisory business expands we are keen to speak with Experienced Analyst level candidates who are keen to build successful careers. To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Regulatory advisory, conduct advisory, risk and compliance, remediation operations, legal and/or external or internal audit experience
  • Understanding of the banking, wealth management, credit, superannuation or insurance industries.
  • A focus on delivering innovative solutions, excellent client service, strong management, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • The ability to understand complex issues and escalate where required to senior team members and partners.
  • An ability to work within budgets and time constraints

About you
This role supports Partners and Directors in designing conduct and compliance frameworks, managing remediation activities, and responding to the requirements of key regulatory bodies. In providing services to our clients you will work collaboratively within teams to solve problems and deliver tailored “and Different” solutions.

Experience in the following areas will help you to be successful in this role:

  • Commerce/Finance/ legal degree/background
  • Previous experience in consulting or similar advisory services
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Energy and a desire to have fun while having an impact

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Peer review work completed by junior team members
  • Assist the manager in preparing billing, budgeting, reporting to the client
  • Meet with external clients and internal management regularly
  • Look into more complex issues and provide recommendations to manager/director/partner
  • Provide training/coaching to team members
