The Business Analyst role will have the opportunity to be involved across projects both specific to the Queensland RAB business and also national projects integral to supporting our long term vision.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide key insights to enhance business performance for the Regional & Agribusiness Banking team. This will be through information gathering, reporting, analysis and project based work. You will deliver excellent customer service as an internal partner, understanding the risk, policies and operational needs of the business. You will be recommending solutions that enable the business to achieve its goals.

More specifically, you will:

  • Assist in development and execution of strategic initiatives for the business.
  • Provide excellent expertise in understanding business performance, including systems and processes designed to meet client demand.
  • Undertake analysis and provide insights for both financial and non-financial business drivers.
  • Prepare presentations and present insights to senior leaders.
  • Engage key partners within Queensland and across the national business.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and play a major role in enabling our front-line to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Be an authentic, standout colleague who can support business activities, projects and initiatives.

  • A strong track record of delivering results around enhancing business performance.
  • Experience in project management and delivery.
  • Conceptual thinking in how to move the business towards new models and processes whilst being able to concisely communicate to key business partners.
  • Excellent relationship building, team collaboration and the ability to provide clear leadership, driving towards team success.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Are passionate about the success of our people, our products, our processes and system improvements.
  • High levels of motivation, drive and strong success orientation.
  • Strong customer focus and a real passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Degree in business or related discipline.
  • Intermediate to advanced excel and PowerPoint skills including the ability to create presentations and communications to senior leaders.
