About the Role

  • Full time position, live on island 

  • Coordinate individually tailored corporate and social groups and events - from 20 - 600 pax

  • Plan all conference and event arrangements for assigned groups from point of contract to event execution

  • Manage up to 16 upcoming groups/events at any one time 

  • Prepare client itineraries, including securing any related reservations

  • Conduct site visits with clients

  • Source products, services and suppliers as required

  • Keep in line with client budgets, objectives and expectations

  • Maintain efficient channels of communications between clients, vendors and internal departments

About You

  • Proven experience as an Events Coordinator for a similar brand

  • Administration Superstar with exceptional organisation abilities

  • Can coordinate large scale corporate events of up to 600 pax with ease

  • Confident and passionate when dealing with clients and guests

  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated

  • Able to build relationships effectively

  • Loves exceeding clients expectations

  • Experience using Delphi or a similar Event Management System

  • Sound knowledge of Food and Beverage operations

  • Open Driver Licence

  • Queensland valid RSA
