About the opportunity

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Account Coordinator to join our Federal Government team, to make an impact that matters in a diverse, high performing account.

Based in Canberra, you will work together with the Strategic Account Manager to support the delivery of an ambitious account strategy and provide advice and management on our Federal Government panel agreements.

Deloitte delivers transformational impact across Federal Government, spanning the health, human services, transport, education and civil sectors.

About the work

The Federal Government Strategic Account Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and administration of internal account activities, including panel management and advice. Working closely with the Strategic Account Manager, your activities will include:

  • Management of the panel inbox, registering new opportunities and communication with Lead Client Service Partners
  • Providing advice to the business on panel arrangements and pricing requirements
  • Championing best practice in account coordination through the delivery of consistent, high quality account meetings, reports and information
  • Management of the account team intranet site
  • Development of internal communications
  • Updating internal databases with account information
  • Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns, relationship programs and events
  • Collaboration with account management community to build and leverage best practice
  • Supporting client feedback by coordinating client interviews, win / loss debriefs, end of project debriefs and sharing information and insights

About you

You will have exceptional attention-to-detail, be highly organised and able to perform and track multiple tasks for different teams/clients at the same time. You will have a passion for service delivery, operational excellence and be proactive, tenacious and persistent.

You will also have:

  • Demonstrable experience with Federal Government panel management and administration
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment and in-depth understanding of Commonwealth procurement and contracting channels
  • The ability to liaise and build relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders
  • Advanced organisation and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent computer skills
  • A proven track record of being a critical member of a high-performing team
  • Public sector or professional services experience is highly valued
