  • Lead a Small Team as the Face of Fraud Control

Your new company
This Government Department Unit is working as a small, targeted group leading the Department’s Serious Non-Compliance and Fraud Investigations functions. Currently they have a need for an EL1 Assistant Director for Fraud Control to assist in providing support and advice to areas and guiding them through compliance, serious non-compliance and fraud identification.

Your new role
You will be brought on board to be the face of fraud control within the organisation and be the contact point for any advice or reassurance on the next steps involved. You will be managing multiple, competing priorities to tight deadlines as well as supporting and managing staff as required. You will be liaising with high level stakeholders, building and managing those relationships as well as ones within the departments unit. As this role will involve liaison with other officers and stakeholders, strong verbal and written communication and management skills are a must.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be a high-performing individual with a background experience in delivering and devising training packages. As well as this, you will portray;

  • The ability to tailor training packages to the audiences as required.

  • The ability to understand an investigative process as your role requires your ability to provide advice and support to areas in the guidance through compliance, serious non-compliance and fraud identification.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Interpersonal skills of a high order and ability to work in a small but busy team.

    • Manage and build effective working relationships with internal staff, senior executives and external stakeholders.

You must be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a Baseline or ideally a NV1 personnel security clearance.
