About The Role

My client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Front Office Manager/Duty Manager to join their tight knit team of professionals in this amazing leisure lodge owned by the largest hotel group within Australia. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be involved in all pertinent matters affecting guest services, Lodge and Tour operations to ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition throughout the Property. In addition, you will respond to guest needs and proactively resolve any issues that may arise to ensure an outstanding guest experience. The successful candidate will have superior conflict resolutions skills, the ability to prioritise and be flexible as required. You must also have experience analysing rate variance reports to ensure rooms revenue control, develop working plans to meet targets, compare actual achievements against targets and formulate action plans to address any shortfalls.

Skills & Experience

  • A minimum 2 years in a front office hotel environment
  • Minimum 1 years experience in at assistant manager or duty manager level
  • Exceptional guest satisfaction and customer service skills
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Proficient use of computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Opera.
  • The ability to influence, delegate and drive your team to achieve results and KPI’s
