Investment Project Manager

A Senior Investment Project Manager / Consultant is required to project manage the delivery of a small number of discrete investment and economic activation opportunities. These opportunities involve various levels of Government along with the Private sector and are critical to the future prosperity of the City.
In this role you will be working to and with the newly established Townsville Development Corporation to deliver new investments to the city which align with the strategic objectives of Council, whilst showing knowledge of key Government investment frameworks and associated application processes.
A focus of this role / consultancy is to leverage Government grant funding, aligned with project objectives. This will include maintaining relationships and communications with opportunity owners and other key business/political stakeholders in order to deliver investment projects in agreed scope, timelines and costs.
We are therefore looking for a highly experienced professional with a track record of existing relationships and networks within key Government departments that has successfully project managed organisational initiatives, including key policy or investment initiatives within a Government contract. This position provides an opportunity to positively impact the public amenity of Townsville and plenty of scope to make your mark.
The position / consultancy will spend a large amount of time with stakeholders in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.
