Your new role
This is a key leadership position where you will be responsible for the efficient and effective, day-to-day operations of the factory whilst simultaneously driving excellent customer service and delivering cost saving initiatives. You will demonstrate your ability to implement manufacturing systems and processes, including preventative and maintenance plans to continually move the business towards best practices. You will be in charge of mentoring, supporting and leading the factory team and their targets, whilst delivering on safety, productivity, quality and operational movement. You will be a positive influence over the team and actively promote a safe and collaborative culture and be able to identify weaknesses in the business and develop solutions to strengthen the business as a whole.

What you'll need to succeed
To ensure your success in this position, you will have demonstrated experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing setting, overseeing production, maintenance, quality, inventory and supply. Experience in a warehouse supervisor, branch manager or operations role will also be considered. A strong leadership background and managerial skill set, ideally within a fast-paced environment will allow you to develop the team and deliver excellent results. Strong negotiations and engaging communication skills, along with a passion for people and processes will be essential. Extensive experience working quality control, continuous improvement and OH&S functions will be highly regarded.
