About the role – Are you ready?

As a Customer Delivery Associate (CDA), you’ll be responsible for providing enhanced and dedicated service operations support and service request fulfilment to Optus Business customers, within our Customer Delivery portfolio. Other duties will include:


  • Management and adherence to product and service related Service Level Agreements
  • Fault/Escalation management – the ability to appropriately deal with customer incidents, problems, service requests and escalate as required.
  • Report customer operational issues back to the Incident & Problem Manager, Service Request Manager &/or Customer Delivery Manager.
  • Accountability for delivery of positive outcomes for the customer, that meet contracted requirements with a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Facilitate moves, additions and changes within the Optus Business data, mobile and voice product suites as applies to customers

What does success look like?

Before you apply, please be aware that this role involves work for the Australian Government and will potentially have access to classified information and resources. As such, a security clearance is required and therefore it is a requirement that the successful candidate be an Australian Citizen.


You’ll probably have experience of customer facing roles with Government customers and naturally adopt pro-active approaches to customer management to ensure identification of potential issues, incidents and problems prior to customer enquiries.


We need you to have strong relationship management and task coordination skills and the ability to prioritise work, while working with the customer, Optus internal, Optus subcontractors (vendors) and other customer service providers.
