Business Data & Finance Analyst; 12 month contract in Darwin to analyse performance and report against KPIs

Your new company
As an Analyst, within this Government Agency with an office based in Darwin, you will be responsible for monitoring and tracking performance, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting against operational KPI's.

Your new role
As an experienced Business / Data or Finance Analyst, you will provide assistance with the establishment and ongoing support of the Large Regional Hub and provide support and advice by analysing and interpreting business performance and financial data. As part of the quality team, reporting into the Assistant Director (Performance Monitoring Manager) you will:

  • Undertake analysis of regional performance against Key Performance Indicators and provide advice on procedural changes as required

  • Coordinate and undertake analysis of participant feedback

  • Undertake internal reviews of decisions and coordinate the Agency’s response to complaints and feedback within the site

  • Coordinate all site reporting requirements

  • Coordinate internal quality assurance processes including sample audit programs and reports on service delivery quality trend analysis, communities of practice and outcomes analysis

  • Undertake internal reviews of decisions

  • Liaise with stakeholders to advise how improvements can be made

What you'll need to succeed

As an experienced Business, Finance Data Analyst, you will ideally have qualifications (i.e. Degree) or experience in analysis, finance, data collection and/or statistic collections. You will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, analytical and communication skills. You will possess strong Excel skills and be able to work independently and use your own initiative.

It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability. Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates.
