F L A T I R O N Side Door wine bar is looking for a passionate, dedicated central staff member to work across all aspects of our new and unique business. Tasks include meticulous preparation of our simple bar menu (share boards and pizzas) as well as bar service and the ability to identify opportunities and further responsibilities within this role. With much room for growth, you will be working alongside Side Door founders in this pivotal role. The successful applicant would have experience in bartending and food preparation, be willing to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and - above all - be passionate about creating a wonderful experience for anyone who walks through the Side Door.

Ability to work closely alongside Side Door founders to create an authentic, engaging and enhanced level of service.
3+ years experience in hospitality, preferably with a basic knowledge and appreciation of wines.
A passion for food and the meticulous preparation and service of a simple menu
Must be highly organized with kitchen preparation and cleanliness
Committed to working weekends, Thursday - Sunday for up to 30 hours per week
A warm, engaging manner with customers and staff.
Must be reliable, punctual and passionate about hospitality.
Willing to work diligently at all times.
Immaculately presented with a can-do attitude at all times.
Barista experience a bonus
Valid working visa or full-time resident
Current valid RSA
Valid Food Safety Certificates
Flexibility to work events
