My client is a leading and established brand in the Not-for-Profit space with a national presence. With recent changes to the way the industry is funded, they are in a position to rapidly grow key parts of their service delivery model including their property and housing portfolio. In turn, they are looking for a business-partnering Finance Manager.

My client is a internationally recognised Not-for-Profit and volunteer based organisation who are in an excellent position to grow the scope of their service delivery and the number of people they are able to assist. They are seeking a business partnering focused and hands on Finance Manager - Property to join their team.


In this role, you will be reporting to the Financial Controller and work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and members of the senior leadership team.In this role, your key responsibilities will include:Leading point of contact for all finance managers relating to the property and housing area of the organisationProvide financial advice across key property & asset related projectsPreparation of the budgets and providing value add commentaryProvision of financial analysis to inform and influence decision makingClosing off month end in a timely manner and all related monthly financial reportingOverall maintenance and management of the general ledger and cash flowEstablishing robust internal control in all finance related processes and transactions


  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or similar discipline.
  • Experience with tenant management systems
  • Membership of a professional accounting body (CPA or CA)
  • Relevant accounting experience
  • Experience with using large Accounting Software packages Great Plains or similar
  • Understanding of external reporting requirements
  • Experience in financial accounting and controls, and management accounting and reporting
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting standards
  • Proven communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to meet tight time frames, manage work flows and multiple projects
  • High computer proficiency in Microsoft packages including Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to adhere to the ethos and mission of the organisation
  • Previous work with a similar organisation is desirable but not essential

Job Offer

$90,000 - $100,000 base plus super and salary packaging on offerBusiness partnering role that will have a real impact on the direction of the organisationCBD Fringe/Inner Sydney Suburbs location
