Your new company
Onecare is a Tasmanian not-for-profit aged care provider that offers a range of accredited residential, nursing and community-based support services with a strong focus on ensuring clients receive the highest possible level of support, independence and security. Currently they are seeking an experienced individual to join their team as the Manager of their Umina Park Facility in Burnie.


Your new role
Reporting to the Executive Manager of Care Services, this position will see you lead and manage Onecare’s 178 bed Umina Park Facility. This exciting and challenging multi-faceted role encompasses the management of a diverse multi-disciplinary team, finance and budget management, risk and compliance, community engagement, complaint management, OH&S and most importantly ensuring the highest level of care to residents. You will use your experience to provide leadership to the staff, identify continuous improvement strategies across the facility and maintain the focus on providing exceptional service. A key component of the role will be engaging with the local community, strengthening current links and building new relationships.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced business manager, degree qualified with a proven history of leading a large and diverse team working towards organisational goals. Whilst experience within the Healthcare sector would be preferred, strong leaders with the ability to quickly adapt and learn the industry are encouraged to apply. You will have strong commercial acumen, the ability to think outside of the square and identify then implement business improvement strategies across the facility. You will also be an excellent communicator with strong organisation skills, an adaptable nature plus an inquisitive and dedicated approach to your work.
