Seeking an immediately available Facilities Manager for large company offices - must have previous experience


Your new company
Our client, who have large office facilities are seeking a Facilities Manager to be responsible for organising general building maintenance, office fit-outs, meeting building facility compliance, asset management and tending to the requirements of office staff.


Your new role
As the Facilities Manager, using your previous management experience, you will be responsible for the operation of the site, ensuring all health and safety requirements and compliance standards are met. You will ensure all maintenance complies with company regulations, and assess long term maintenance plans. It will be your responsibility to ensure any maintenance work is carried out within the agreed timeline, guaranteeing the operational running of the company.



  • The review and management of facilities contracts

  • Asset management and the establishment of preventative maintenance schedules

  • Minor site works, preventative and reactive maintenance

  • Risk assessments, property incident investigations and audits

  • Ensure emergency and fire response procedures are in place




What you'll need to succeed



  • Tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management, Construction or related field

  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills

  • Exceptional communication skills and an ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders

  • A strong customer-service mindset



  • Demonstrated experience managing internal and external contractors as well as management of multiple commercial sites

  • A warm, personable attitude with clear communication skills are critical in order to manage complex client expectations

  • Previous experience conducting regular safety, compliance, asset and maintenance inspections and reporting

  • Corporate background with a high level of commercial acumen is essential.
