The position is located in Executive Office division of a Government Department, and is held in Melbourne.

Your new role
The role provides executive support to Senior Executives, in addition to broader administrative duties and project work as directed. It requires an ability to prioritize work tasks effectively within a dynamic and fast paced environment, and respond quickly to changing demands within tight time frames. The role entails providing high level secretarial support, monthly board papers, coordination of board meeting, organisation of travel for the entire executive team, compiling strategic organisational documents and related ad-hoc administrative duties.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful they will be someone who is well organised, has strong communication skills and is able to build and sustain positive relationships in a service delivery environment, consistent with internal policies and the Government Code of Conduct. Due to the high volume of liaison with internal and external stakeholders, within the public and private sector, a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion is also required. The successful candidate needs to be reliable, diligent, pay close attention to detail and able to work collegiately as part of a strong and collaborative team located across Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne. Furthermore they have previous experience supporting senior executives which includes Deputy Chairs and Commissioners in addition to possessing and excellent understanding of what is required.
