Job Responsibilities: Golder Associates is working on some of South Australia's largest and most diverse projects and we currently have exciting opportunities available for Engineers and Scientists to join its Contaminated Sites team in Adelaide. You will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders, be part of an experienced team of consultants and engage with our range of clients as we assist them. This will allow you to develop your technical and consulting skills while increasing your knowledge base in an employee-owned, international firm. You will primarily be responsible for carrying out fieldwork on site as well as working in the office.
You will be qualified with a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant science or engineering discipline and you will have gained contaminated sites experience, ideally from a consultancy, although broader industry experience will be of value.
Job Requirements: Subject to your relevant experience your key responsibilities may include: * Planning and conducting general field work including vapour, soil and groundwater investigations, monitoring programs and site remediation. * Task and field management, including managing small to medium sized field teams. * Assisting with and completing data management, interpretation and reporting for phased assessment and remediation programs. * Preparing and adhering to site-specific health and safety plans to mitigate or eliminate risks to oneself and other Golder staff, client's personnel and the public. * Representing Golder with its clients and liaising with client representatives.
You will be required to travel and fieldwork will comprise a large component of your workload and a valid Australian driver's license is required. It is expected that you will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse group of people, particularly our clients and suppliers.
