Electrical Planner Job

Role Overview:

The Planner works with the Core team and the department, providing detailed planning and scheduling of work orders within the Core team’s area of responsibility. You will schedule skilled resources to meet the requirements of a particular plant area.


Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring plans and work are appropriate through the application of the Safe System of Work (SSW).

Developing procedures as required to execute work in a safe, efficient and timely manner

Timely and accurate reporting of incidents within planned work in accordance with the site procedure

Processing and implementing actions as per relevant correctiveaction / complaint
reports in a timely
manner, and verifying the effectiveness of such actions

Ensuring that the 
product / service provided meets the customer
schedule / order / agreement requirements.

Developing and maintaining an excellent and effective relationship with the customer

Developing Tender document packages as per client requirements


Qualifications and experience:

Trade Background as a minimum; Associate Diploma or equivalent preferred

Planning/scheduling experience

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

An understanding of the Job Safety Management, environmental and quality systems

Competent with the MS Office suite of applications

Exposure to Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), 

A working knowledge of SAP R3 and Primavera is preferred.
