Your role:

Joining our team as a Customer Service Advisor is a great development opportunity for those who want to excel in being experts in generating new business for BankSA. You will retain and deepen customer relationships through understanding your customers and providing professional customer sales and service. You will be supported with a structured training and accreditation program to help you on your way. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for customers
  • Serving and delighting every customer by effectively and accurately processing banking transactions
  • Understanding your customer's financial goals and banking needs
  • Identifying opportunities to deliver a tailored solution that clearly links back to your customer's financial goals
  • Generating leads across wealth, insurance, home loan and small business lending
  • Taking ownership for a seamless service
  • Adhering to all BankSA risk policies and compliance requirements

What you need to succeed:

  • Proven customer service experience and a passion for sales delivery
  • Ability to communicate clearly with our customers
  • Effective relationship management skills
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Business and financial acumen are considered an advantage
  • You understand the local community and people's needs and are confident to build relationships and offer solutions
  • Strong problem solving skills
