Hays has now partnered with a leading national builder to source a Contract Administrator within their aged care delivery division. This builder has been operating for over 30 years and have established offices across multiple states and offer a range of services including; aged care, hospitals, schools and industrial. Their core work ranges from $20 mil all they way through to $50 million
Your new role
The business has recently secured multiple aged care projects across south east QLD, this includes 3 projects in the inner suburbs of Brisbane. Due to this increased work load, this dynamic builder is now seeking a Contracts Administrator to assist the Project Manager in the successful delivery of these projects The position will be a mix of both office and site based locations and will see the successful candidate initially working on a project in north Brisbane before moving on to Southside project; with both of these projects sitting around $25 million in value. These projects will be high end aged care units that will consists of multiple units across multiple suspended slab towers with sub level basements.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application you will have a background with a mid-tier commercial builder, you will have a strong commercial acumen You will have a minimum of 5 years as Contract Administrator and have good knowledge in Procurement, Contract Negotiation, RFI’s, and Variations. It will be highly desirable if you hold a relevant tertiary qualification in construction management. You will have a strong ability to develop close relationships with sub-contractors.
